2020년 MLB 경기가 7월 23일 시작되었다.
작년에 이어 올해에도 이용하는 통신사 T-mobile에서 화요일마다 진행하는 T-mobile Tuesdays (앱을 통해 화요일마다 선물이나 스트리밍 구독권 등을 줌)를 통해 MLB 1년 치 시청 이용권을 얻게 되어 시작하는 날부터 경기를 시청하였다.

24일 금요일에는 류현진 선수가 첫 경기 선발투수로 등장하여 최지만선수가 있는 템파베이와 경기를 치렀는데 최지만 선수는 선발에 제외되어 고민 없이 류현진 선수를 열심히 응원했다.
선발승을 거두지 못하고 마운드에서 내려오기는 했지만 그래도 이기고 있는 상태에서 내려오고 경기 마무리가 잘 되어서 패전투수는 되지 않았고 블루제이가 승리하였다.
올해 메이져리그 경기에서는 관중은 없지만 구입한 자석에 사진을 붙을 수 있게 하여 좌석을 판매하고 있고(각 구단마다 좌석마다 가격이 책정), 경기를 중계하는 FOX Sports에서는 Virtual Fans(가짜 관중)들을 등장시켜서 경기를 중계하는 모습을 보이는 등 팬데믹 시대에 새로운 경기를 운영하고 중계하는 방식을 선보이고 있다.
조금은 어색하지만 새로운 시대에 맞춰 또 변화하는 모습을 보는 것도 즐거움 중 하나다.
